In June 2021, the SAC family said goodbye to three teachers, Mrs. Shauna Kay Arthurs, and Mr. Duran McNeil, from the computer science department, and Mr. Christian Wilmore, from the science department.

St. Augustine’s College graduates are among the brightest and best in many arenas. Featured in this photo are some of our graduates who are successful in education, architecture, performing arts, medicine, insurance, and culinary arts.

The Board of Members, Saint Augustine's College, and the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Nassau, The Bahamas, invites applications and nominations for the post of Principal of Saint Augustine's College (SAC or the College). The College is a Roman Catholic secondary school with a Benedictine heritage. As such, it is unique within the education system in The Bahamas.

When the SAC community learned of the sudden passing of Big Red Machine educator, Charles Lashley, it was stunned. Having taught at SAC for 37 years, Mr. Lashley was a pillar in the SAC community for decades and many alumni and supporters of the school flocked to social media to offer condolences to his family and pay their respects to a man who had such a positive impact on the lives he touched.

In the last 35 years, St. Augustine's College has had 10 male valedictorians. Donovan Butler is among that number, being SAC's 2020 valedictorian.

In 1889, five Sisters of Charity from Mt. St. Vincent's in New York came to Nassau and founded the first Catholic school in The Bahamas.

Near Red Square, just on the side of the 70s block, is a Yellow Elder tree that was planted more than 10 years ago in Nurse Donna Saunders' honour.

Who says that because school is virtual, we can’t show school spirit! Our Lady Machines made sure they still put on their first day of school performance even though we didn’t have convocation this year.
